🌿✔️ Do

• Get a good night’s sleep and eat beforehand
Your body handles pain and stress better when rested and fueled.

• Stay hydrated
Drink water before (and after). Hydrated skin = better healing.

• Bring own snacks
Feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks with you on the tattoo day. For longer sessions, having some sugary treats is really helpful for keeping your energy & blood sugar steady.

• Wear comfortable clothing preferably dark colours.
If possible, pick something loose and stretchy to wear ! Something that gives me easy access to the area & clothing you yourself will feel comfortable in for the duration.

• Avoid sunburn
Don’t get the area tanned or burned before your session (especially important in summer months!)— sadly I will have to reschedule the appointment, if you do.


🍂🚫 Don’t

• Don’t drink alcohol the night before or on the day
Alcohol thins your blood and increases bleeding. This will hinder the whole tattooing process, making it harder for me and more irritable for you (aka more wiping).

• Don’t take painkillers like aspirin/ibuprofen before your session
They can also thin your blood. (If you take medication for medical reasons, don’t change anything — just inform me when booking, so I will be aware of any possible complications etc.)

• Don’t shave the area yourself
You might cut or irritate the skin. I will shave the area myself right before tattooing!

• Don’t come sick or hungover
Firstly, your body needs to be in good health to manage the pain and heal properly. Secondly, showing up ill may put others, myself included, at risk. In this case I will also, sadly, have to send you back home.
